Pakistan deports nearly 3,500 Afghan migrants in 48 hours
Pakistani authorities expelled almost 3,500 undocumented Afghan migrants over the last 48 hours, according to local media reports, marking the continuation of deportation trend over the past 2 months.
The migrants re-entered Afghanistan through the Spin Boldak and Torkham border crossings, while the biting cold of winter has already troubled the poorly-sheltered destitute returnees.
Media sources indicate that since the start of November, a total of 441,893 undocumented Afghans have been repatriated from Pakistan to Afghanistan.
