The Nonviolence Organization (Freemuslim) has called for a global conference to discuss the existential threats facing humanity around the world, and to find urgent solutions to reduce them and prioritize the safety of all humans without discrimination.
Coinciding with the International Day of Human Solidarity, to be marked on December 20, the organization released a message, calling for the “need to avoid what may lead to poor international relations through holding a global conference that takes into account the reduction of existential threats facing humanity, and working to draw a roadmap to get the international crisis out of the bottleneck.”
The Freemuslim said in its message that, “Despite the efforts of the UN in this field for years, the unprecedented decline in the humanitarian situation since World War II arouses feelings of frustration and sadness for what the international community has turned into, a serious division and fragmentation that has resulted in conflicts with uncalculated consequences.”
The organization directed its call to all governments, organizations, and entities to work to “help the peoples affected by wars or natural disasters or those who suffer from poverty due to lack of resources,” pointing out that “people are humans regardless of their color, race, or belief.”
