London: Muslim Convention features lectures, grand celebration to honour Sayyidah Zeinab

The Muslim Convention was held on Saturday, November 18, in honour of Sayyidah Zeinab, peace be upon her, at London’s Coventry Building Society Arena.

The event, titled Lady Zainab: The Epitome of Strength, featured more than 40 leading Shia Speakers from all over the world.

According to the organizers, the attendees were given a chance to take lessons from the life of the ‘Monument of Patience’ and her mannerism.

They add that 7 insightful workshops, a bustling MarketPlace and a grand celebration featuring renowned reciters, poetry and a theatrical play celebrating the great lady were other outstanding features of this memorable one-day event.

Also, a competitive and educational Kids Zone was run simultaneously to the main event, with a range of recreational activities and an interactive Islamic session.
