Christian families in the Philippines celebrate third anniversary of construction of church named after Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra

Christian families in the Philippines celebrated the third anniversary of the construction of a grand church, named after Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her.

The church is a replica of the Church of Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her, in Portugal, where a miracle of Sayyeda Fatima happened to three children, namely Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta in 1917.

The church was built in 2020 and is a spiritual center for Christians in the Philippines. The celebrants said that they pray to Sayyeda Fatima for peace, especially in Ukraine and other countries that are experiencing conflict.

According to media outlets, this church is the fifth replica of the Church of Sayyeda Fatima in Portugal, which is called ‘Capelinha de Fatima Cebu’, as there are also replicas in the United States, Brazil, and Puerto Rico.
