At least four migrants died and 51 others went missing after their boat capsized off the Tunisian coast on Sunday, Reuters reported.
According to a legal official, all the migrants on the boat were from Africa.
The General Administration of the National Guards announced on Sunday that the national coast guards had recovered 10 bodies in the last 48 hours off the coast of Luata in the state of Sfax.
The International Organization for Migration said that more than two thousand people died attempting to cross the Mediterranean in the first half of 2023, while 1,400 people died for the same period in 2022.
