Shias of Ahlul-Bayt hold Ashura procession in Hannover, Germany
On this year’s Ashura day, Imam Hussain’s mourning was held in the streets of various German cities with the presence of Ahl al-Bayt lovers.
A large number of Muslims living in Germany are Shias, who mostly live in the cities of Frankfurt, Munich, Aachen, Hanover and Hamburg.
On the days of Tasu’a and Ashura, most of the ceremonies are held in the Islamic centers of Germany with speeches. These Majalis end with mourning and beating on the chest.
On the 10th day of Muharram every year, the Ashura ceremony is held and attended by a large number of Muslims, and mourners mourn for the love of Imam Hussain and Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them).
It should be noted that thanks to the efforts of Muslims in some cities of Germany, including Hamburg, the day of Ashura has been declared an official holiday along with the holidays of Adha and Fitr.
This year, the Ashura mourning procession was held with great enthusiasm in the center of Hanover, Germany, with the presence of Hosseini mourners from different countries.
The videos of this glorious event as received by the Shia Waives agency show the large presence of Muslims from different walks of life in this splendid procession.
