WHO warns of increase in dengue fever due to global warming

The World Health Organization has warned that cases of dengue fever, also known as bone-breaking fever, may reach an all-time high this year as a result of global warming and an increase in mosquitoes.

One of the doctors of this organization has warned that about half of the world’s population is at risk of contracting this disease.

Dengue fever is a type of disease that is transmitted to humans through the Aedes mosquito and is mostly spread in tropical regions of the world. The disease is characterized by fever and muscle pain as main symptoms and has no special treatment.
