Misbah al-Hussein Foundation launches charitable project to draw smiles on the faces of Karbala’s orphans

Misbah al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, which works under the auspices of the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in the holy city of Karbala, launched “Farreh Yateem” project on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
Director of the foundation’s Social Welfare Department, Abdul-Sahib al-Kishwan, said that the project comes with the support of the British IHDRF, and in cooperation with the Anwar al-Huda Charitable and Cultural Foundation.
He added, “The charitable project included leisure tours, meals and clothes for orphans on the blessed occasion, while taking into account all health and safety procedures,” pointing out that the aim of the project is to draw smiles on the faces of orphans and contribute to alleviating the suffering of their blessed families.
It is worth noting that the “Farreh Yateem” project was launched in several Iraqi provinces, starting with the holy city of Karbala.
