Turkish Coast Guard rescue 84 Afghan refugees
The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 84 illegal immigrants near the shores of Ayvacik city in the southwest of Chenak Qala province in the west of this country.
In the evening of Sunday, July 2, Anatolia reporter confirmed that Turkish coast guard saw inflatable boats carrying illegal immigrants off the shores of Ayvacik city, and three coast guard boats were sent to rescue them.
The report adds that the Afghan migrants had been pushed by the Greek forces towards the territorial waters of Turkey, and after being rescued, they were handed over to the repatriation center for foreign nationals.
