Misbah Al-Hussein launches water supply project in deprived areas of Afghanistan

Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation held an inauguration ceremony for its project to supply water to deprived areas of Afghanistan.


The project involved drilling and equipping a deep well, building a tank, supplying electricity and a transmission line to the water supply network of Fatemeh al-Zahra Hussainiya in Mazar-e-Sharif.


With the grace of Almighty God, this charitable project, which provides drinking water to 2,400 people, started in January 2022 with a budget of 10,000 dollars and was completed in June 2023.


It should be mentioned that the water tank used in this project was of 30,000-liter capacity and 10 meters height.


This humanitarian project was realized through the financial contributions of philanthropists, the efforts of the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, together with the cooperation of Karbala-based Misbah al-Hussein Foundation, the help of from London-based IHC organization and Imam Hussein Media Group.
