Australia: Massive gathering rejects attempts to teach homosexuality at schools

The Australian Committee of Parentntal Rights for the Protection of Family and Children has organized a gathering in the Australian Capital, Sydney, to reject the attempts to teaching homosextuality at schools.

More than 1,400 people, from different religions, faiths, nationalities and ethnicities, joined the gathering, amid a noticeable presence of the Iraqi and Lebanese communities, and a number of Muslim and Mandaen clerics also attended this gathering.

The gathering directed a clear message to the Australian government not to, “Impose a law to teach homosexuality at schools, because it goes against our beliefs, religion, humanity and sound culture.”

The organizing committee called on the Australian government to, “Protect children”, pointing out that, “The majority of the population upholds these demands, regardless of their religion, faith, nationality or ethnicity.”
