Grand Ayatollah Shirazi receives delegation of women from Baghdad, recommends them to assume full religious responsibility

The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has received at his honorable house a delegation from Yatimat-ul-Gharib Committee for women from Baghdad, Iraq.

His Eminence delivered a lecture in which he recommended the women followers of AhlulBayt, peace be upon them, to assume full religious responsibility to disseminate the divine knowledge and to face life’s challenges.

The office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi said in a statement followed by Shia Waves Agency that, “The Grand Ayatollah Shirazi thanked the visiting delegation and commended their loyalty and devotion to AhlulBayt, peace be upon them, and their commitment to the path of Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her.”

The statement added that, “The women also attended a lecture delivered by Ayatollah Sayyid Hossein Al-Shirazi, son of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, who spoke about various topics of importance to women in their scientific and practical life.”
