A team that includes a group of Husseinian processions and some civil society institutions from the holy Karbala and other governorates, continues to support families with food baskets, in addition to participating in supporting the health sector in line with the fatwa of social solidarity issued by the religious authority.
A member of the ‘Ayadi Al-Khyar’ Campaign Mazen Al-Wazani said in a statement that a group was formed from the Husseinian processions and civil society institutions inside Karbala to support the needy families whose livelihood was cut off due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus and the lockdown.
Al-Wazani added, “We formed a group in the named ‘Ayadi Al-Khyar’ at the time of Corona in Karbala governorate and later expanded to include other provinces and entering processions in those provinces in this group and our work became joint to meet the need of these families.”
Al-Wazzani pointed out, “After the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, our work turned to disinfecting, as our own numbers were published on social media, that we are ready to disinfect any home, area or department that needs this, and then we switched to providing medical oxygen to fill the shortfall in hospitals and health departments that need it.
