The Iraq security forces said on Friday, in a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, that they, “Arrested one of the most dangerous ISIS-linked terrorist, a member of the so-called the (South State).”
The statement added that the arrest was carried out based on an arrest warrant according to article four of the Anti-Terrorism Law.
It continued that the operation was conducted based on accurate intelligence information that enabled the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, in cooperation with the Iraq army to arrest the wanted terrorist.
The statement explaining that, “ISIS-affiliated terrorist was operating as a fighter under so-called (Usama bin Ladn Battalion), and was involved in terrorist operations against the security forces.”
