Airstrikes, artillery fire hit Khartoum as fighting between rivals intensifies

Despite international efforts to end the internal crisis in Sudan, severe military conflicts between the army and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continue in different regions of the country.

The army used airstrikes and artillery fire on Tuesday to repel RSF troops and gain control of strategic areas of the capital.

According to reports, at least 600 civilians have lost their lives during these battles and more than 700,000 people have been forced to leave their residence to escape from the raging civil war.
