Tunisian journalist under attack in wake of her visit to Holy Karbala, Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf

The Tunisian journalist, Reem Al-Waraymi, has expressed her resentment over the attack she faced in wake of her visit to the holy shrines of AhlulBayet, peace be upon them, in Iraq.

Being accused of infidelity, Al-Waraymi said that such attacks and smear campaigns reflect grudge buried in the hearts of those people.

Al-Waraymi added, in a video followed by Shia Waves Agency, that, “Paying tribute or visiting the holy shrines of AhlulBayet, peace be upon them, angers the enemies as though they have not read the Prophet’s quotes in the rights of Imam Hassan, Imam Hussein and the other Imams, peace be upon them.”

The Tunisian journalist pointed out that she earlier had, “visited the church ‘The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris’ in France and that she wrote an article about it. This visit was considered by many as a reflection of humanity and openess towards the Christians.”

Al-Waraymi stressed that she will, “not abandon visiting and paying tribute to the holy shrines of AhlulBayet, peace be upon them, no matter how fierce these attacks may be.”

It should be mentioned that Reem Al-Waraymi had the honor of visiting Holy Karbala and shared a video on her official website documenting her visit.
