Imam Ali Holy Shrine confirms continuation of expansion work

The Imam Ali Holy Shrine has announced, today Thursday, that its employees have made significant progress in the expansion project of the holy shrine.

Abdul Hadi Al-Ibrahimi, a member of the board of directors at the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, said in a statement “The Holy Shrine has a strategic vision for this expansion as it attempts to keep the heritage part of the old city intact.”

It should be mentioned that such projects are now more important than ever before as the numbers of pilgrims are increasing and there must be more areas to accommodate them during massive pilgrimages.
