In two questions put forward to his Eminence by a number of believers from Iran on his opinion as to what extent a ruler can use tyranny against his subjects.
His answer to these questions, as followed by Shia Waves Agency, was that, “A ruler is not permitted to by tyrannical in his ruling even if he is a Faqih (jurist) or is installed by a Faqih.”
His Eminence added that, “It is not permissible for one Faqih, even if his is a ruler, to make decisions in isolation from other, especially in issues related to peace, war and people’s affairs.”
