The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced the destruction of a booby-trapped vehicle and the discovery of three ISIS terrorist hideouts in Wadi Houran.

The cell stated in a statement, received by Shiawaves, that “According to accurate intelligence, a force from the 27th Infantry Brigade in the 7th Infantry Division carried out a preemptive operation in Wadi Houran.”

It added, “The operation resulted in the destruction of the Nissan pickup booby-trapped vehicle and the confiscation of three 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, a Katyusha missile launch base, 33 82-mm mortar rounds and 72 120-mm mortar rounds.”
