Saudi authorities behead Shia man in Al Awamiyah on trumped-up insecurity charges

The Saudi authorities have executed a Shia young man from Al Awamiyah region on fabricated charges that he had threatened the security of the Kingdom.

Local media outlets reported that the Saudi authorities had carried out on Shawwal 12th, corresponding to May 2nd, the execution against the Shia man, Minhal bin Abdul Allah Al Rabah from Awamiyah, Qatif in the Eastern Province.

They added that trumped-up charges were directed to him and that he was accused by the Ministery of Interior of joining a terrorist group which planned to carry out mass shooting against the security forces.

The media outlets said that his body was not delivered to his family after the execution and that it had been taken to unknown place.

Minhal Al Rabah is a Saudi business and the founder of ‘Mood Al-Mind’ company, which specialized in digital marketing and social networking, ranked as one of the top companies in this field in Saudi Arabia.

In April 23, 2019, the Saudi authorities beheaded 37 Saudi citizens, of whom 30 were Shias from the Eastern Province, on fabricated charges related to freedom of expression and peaceful protesting.

In condemnation of the oppressive measures against the freedoms in Saudi Arabia, international rights organizations, such as the ‘Freedom House’ for studies, had ranked the kingdom as the worst country in the world in its persecution of its people.
