Abul Fadhl Al-Abbas Refectory distributes meals to over half a million pilgrims during Ramadan

The Refectory Department at the Al-Abbas Shrine announced that it had provided meals  to more than half a million pilgrims during this holy month of Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr.

Alaa Abdul Hussein, the assistant head of the Refectory Department said in a statmenet received by Shia Waves Agency that, “The employees of the Department provided Iftar and Sahoor meals to the honourable pilgrims throughout the blessed month of Ramadan. There were various locations for the distribution process, where over 550 thousand meals were served .”

It is worth mentioning that large crowds of pilgrims visited Holy Karbala this blessed month of Ramadan, both from Iraq and other countries, where they performed pilgrimage to Imam Hussein and his loyal brothr, Abu al-Fadhl al-Abbas, peace be upon them.
