A statement stated that the security forces in their various formations began implementing the “Iraqi Heroes: Victory of Sovereignty” Operations.
The statement added that the targeted areas on the second day are located southwest of Kirkuk, in the border with Salahuddin province, with an area of 738.5 square kilometers.
It pointed out that the aim of the operations is to enhance security and stability, pursue the remnants of ISIS criminal remnants, and arrest the wanted terrorists.
