On Int’l Day of Conscience, Nonviolence Organization issues message calling for peace and prosperity
The International Nonviolence Organization (Free Muslim) has issued today, Tuesday, a special message on the occasion of the International Day of Conscience, which is marked on April 5th, in which it reiterated its full support for all living consciences around the world, calling on world leaders and peoples to listen to the voice of the human conscience as a way to spread peace and prosperity.
The Organization has said in a statement received by Shia Waves Agency that “The state of confusion the world is experiencing in reconciling humanity’s yearning to live in peace and achieve prosperity on the one hand, and the escalation of political tensions, social unrest and even military conflicts on the other hand, reflects the state of chaos in concepts.”
The Organization has related this chaos to “the absence of a coherent comprehensive authority that can lift contradictions and eliminate ambiguities, in addition to providing effective solutions.”
The Free Muslim has confirmed that, “The concept of peace in our time needs to be redefined within the framework of the determinants of the human conscience, which tends by nature towards all good and abhors all evil.”
The Organization has pointed out that “strengthening the role of conscience in human life is an integrated process in which all activities of society, starting with the family and educational centers, through spiritual, religious and media bodies, and ending with official and civil institutions, through consolidating the values of transparency, accountability, justice, freedom of expression and respect for human rights.”
