Shia Rights Watch documents over 40 attacks on Shias worldwide

The international organization of Shia rights watch, has recorded 41 terrorist attacks against Shia Muslims and the followers of Ahl Al Beit (peace be upon them) in 6 different countries worldwide during the past month of February, confirming the escalating level of hostility directed against Shiites.

According to the latest report issued by the organization for the month of February, and received by (Shiite News Agency), six countries worldwide, namely (Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Morocco), have witnessed forty one terrorist and oppressive violations performed by terrorist groups and ruling regimes.

The organization’s report, which came into 8 pages, reported the attacks from the most prominent terrorist operations ranging from armed attacks and bombings, alongside to the systematic suppression and persecution in a number of countries around the world, while many field observations and indicators point to violations that can not be confirmed by evidence and witnesses.

Afghanistan as a country with very unstable and troubled security conditions, has witnessed bombing attacks near the shrine of Abu Al Fadl Al Abbas (pbuh) in the second police district of Afghan capital, Kabul, carried out by terrorist gangs that have planned to target the holy Shiite shrines in Afghanistan and destroy them.

Following that, Pakistan witnessed three security incidents, the first of which was a terrorist bombing in the Quetta area that killed and injured 5 people as well as a bomb attack was placed inside the Jaffar Express train in Quetta, by terrorists, Killing 2 and injuring four others.

Additionally, five people were killed and sixteen others were injured in a motorcycle bomb explosion that targeted pedestrians in the popular Barkhan market town.

In Bahrain, the organization recorded eight cases of assault and suppression, as a number of youth and underage boys were imprisoned in areas such as Al-Shakhura, Karana, Al-Murkh, Al-Malikiya, Janusan, Al-Sanabis, Al-Aker, Al-Daras, Al-Maqshaa, Karzakan, and Sar, while others were arrested on fabricated charges.

The authorities also seized Sheikh Saleh Mosque, one of the Shiite endowments, and arbitrarily converted it into private property, while continuing to oppress political prisoners and deprive them of medical care.

Then come the Saudi Arabi, where has ruined and blackened its reputation by death penalties worldwide, as Saudi courts sentenced Mohammed Ali Al-Shaqqaq, Mansour Samir Al-Hayek, Marzouk Mohammed Dhaif, and his brother Raad Mohammed Dhaif to death, and sentenced activist Ali Radhi Mansour to 27 years in prison on political charges in trials that lacked integrity and justice.

In addition to the execution of two civilian Shiite activists Ali Al-Rabee and Ali Al-Saffar As a security force arrested the central secretary of the Pakistani Shia scholars council, the eminent Sayyid Nazir Abbas Taqvi, wihle performing the Umrah pilgrimage on charges of waving the flag of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) inside the holy Mecca Mosque.

They then attacked a number of Saudi Endowments employees and desecrated the graves of Shia Muslims and attacked religious slogans raised above the graves.

Meanwhile, Morocco recorded one violation, where the authorities violated the global immigration and refugee law after handing over the Shia opposition activist Hassan Al-Rabie to the Saudi security authorities, who may face the death penalty and be beheaded at any moment.

Iraq also witnessed terrorist attacks that targeted Shia Muslims in several areas, recording eight attacks against innocent people.

These attacks included kidnappings, bombings, and direct terrorist attacks in Kirkuk, Diyala, Salahuddin, and visitors of the holy Kazimiyah shrine.
