An Iraqi MP warns of attempts to bring remnants of terrorists from Syrian al-Hawl camp to Iraq

The Iraqi MP Sherif Suleiman Ali, warned of an “imminent danger” to the Iraqis in case that “the remains of ISIS members” were brought from the Syrian al-Hawl camp, and this would have an impact on the feelings of Iraqis.

Ali said in a statement, “There are attempts being made from time to time by the Iraqi government and the Ministry of Immigration, with reference to the residents of the Syrian al-Hol camp, in order to bring the remnants of the terrorists who were captured after the liberation of the Baghouz area.”

Ali asked about the reasons for “not paying attention to the displaced people who suffer in the camps of the Kurdistan Region and other regions, whose numbers exceeded 300,000.

The MP demanded the government not to bring these people into Iraq for they are terrorism-oriented and they will pose threat to the Iraq community.
