Imam Hussein Charitable Foundation, affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority in the holy city of Karbala, participated in a sterilization campaign of some residential areas in Karbala in cooperation with the PMU forces.

Hussein al-Saadi, commander of the 6th Brigade of the PMU, said that this work came in response to the directive of the Shia Religious Authority on preventive measures against coronavirus.  

He added that the campaign, which was carried out by followers of the Religious Authority, covered the areas of al-Intifadha, al-Sumood and al-Jahiz.
