Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation holds first workshop on its development project of Holy Arba’een Pilgrimage
Mesbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development in the holy city of Karbala discussed with Iraqi experts mechanisms for achieving its great development project (Karbala Vision 2030 – 50 million pilgrims in the Arba’een Pilgrimage), at the headquarters of the Imam Al-Hussein Media Group.
The director of the Foundation, Abd al-Sah al-Kishwan, said in a statement to Shi’a Waves Agency: “The Foundation held its first workshop regarding its major development project on its upcoming vision to revive the blessed Arba’een (2030), within the sustainable development plans announced by the United Nations.”
Al-Kishwan continued that “the workshop was held in the presence of the general supervisor of the Foundation, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslmeen, Sheikh Mustafa al-Muhammadi, the director of the holy municipality of Karbala, Eng. Hassan al-Sharifi, and Iraqi experts in numerous fields.”
Al-Kishwan added, “The Foundation, and based on its leadership in establishing strategic and long-term projects, launched its major development project (Karbala Vision 2030 – 50 million pilgrims the Arba’een), which stems from broader vision of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, who emphasizes the importance of preparing everything to receive the millions of pilgrims.”
He pointed out that “the project Is well accepted by the local government and the departments concerned,” noting that “the next stage is to host international experts who have a long experience in receiving crowds of millions in order to listen to their opinions regarding our development project for the Arba’een”
