With an area of 1200 square meters, roofing work on Hussein Camp continues
Imam Hussein Holy Shrine announced the continuation roofing the open space of the Husseini Camp (Al-Mukhayam), with an area of (1200) square meters.
The engineer supervising the project, Mustafa Jaafar Al-Wahhab, said in an interview with the official website, followed by Shia Waves Agency, that the employees of the Strategic Projects Department are continuing their work on the roofing project of the Husseini Camp.
He explained that “the roofing includes the open space of the Al-Husseini Al-Sharif camp using iron structures and concrete, and the project also includes the manufacture of five small tents with dimensions of (5 * 10) meters, and another large tent with dimensions (10 * 12) meters installed on the new roof.”
He added, “The tents will be covered with Karbala’i ceramic tiles, decorated with Islamic inscriptions and Quranic verses, in addition to electrical and mechanical works, and the project will be provided with an advanced cooling system, and electrical transformers from international companies.”
He pointed out that “the front and side façade cladding of the Al-Husseini Al-Sharif camp installed, with a height of (3) meters, and the two symbolic domes of Imam Hussein and his brother Al-Abbas (peace be upon them) were re-demolished to add a new height of (1.5) meters to both domes.”
