Indian media celebrates Saudi regime’s decision to ban Islamic cloak in exam halls

The Indian media affiliated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s regime’s decision, which banned the wearing of the abaya, a cloak worn by Muslim women, for female students in exam halls, considering that the Saudi government’s decision supports the Indian government’s decision to prevent Muslim students from wearing the veil in schools and colleges.

A number of Indian websites such as, KAUMUDI and OpIndia, celebrated the Suadi decision on banning girls in exam halls from wearing this Islamic dress.

The Saudi decision, issued by Bin Salman’s regime, is condemnable as it aims at conveying false images about Islam, and it gives the green light to the anti-Islam Indian ruling Bharatiya Janata Party to impose more restrictions on Muslim women.
