Iraq: Mosque under construction bombed near Mandali district in Diyala

An official of the Mandali district, in the Iraqi province of Diyala, Mazen Al-Khuzai, confirmed that a mosque under construction had been bombed by unknown persons on the outskirts of the district.

 

An official of the Mandali district, in the Iraqi province of Diyala, Mazen Al-Khuzai, confirmed that a mosque under construction had been bombed by unknown persons on the outskirts of the district.

Al-Khuzai said in a statement that a mosque under construction in the outskirts of Mandali district (85 km east of Baquba), was exploded by unknown persons by an explosive device, which resulted in damage without any injuries.

Al-Khuzai added that a security team had begun investigating the incident.
