A security source in Diyala province confirmed the death and injury of four civilians, including a woman, in incidents of violence in the northeast of the province.

The source said, a civilian was killed and his 15-year-old son was wounded by an explosive device in the middle of Abi Saida, 25 km northeast of Baquba. Another civilian was killed and a woman was shot by unknown persons on a vehicle in the outskirts of the district.

The source added that the security services have opened an urgent investigation into the circumstances of the incidents.
