Imam Hussein Media Group opens representative office in Istanbul and promises its audience to develop its television programs
The Public Relations Department of Imam Hussein Media Group announced the opening of another representative office in the Turkish capital, Istanbul, coinciding with the revival of the great month of Ramadan.
The Public Relations Department said in a statement received by Shia Waves, “The media group, under the supervision of its Secretary-General Sheikh Mustafa al-Muhammadi, opened a representative office in the capital, Istanbul, to increase its media activities and cover the activities of the Ahlulbayt followers in Turkey.”
The statement added, “The opening of the representative office came a few months after the official registration of the Al-Zahra Network in Turkish, which is the group’s fifth channel among its other Arabic, English, Urdu and Persian channels.”
The statement quoted His Eminence Sheikh Mustafa al-Muhammadi as saying: “According to the recommendations of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, a representative office of Imam Hussein Media Group was opened in Istanbul.”
Al- Muhammadi stressed that “the audience and viewers of the media group will from now on enjoy special programs of Shia religious activities and events, as well as the revival of the holy Husseini rituals in five international languages.”
