60 soldiers were killed and wounded, as a result of an attack by terrorists on an army camp in central Mali.
The Malian army said in a statement, that 27 soldiers were killed and 33 others were wounded, while 7 soldiers were missing in an attack by terrorist gunmen on a camp in the center of the country, noting that the battles also resulted in the “neutralization of 47 terrorists.”
Mali has been witnessing a state of instability since 2012 due to the armed takfiri groups affiliated with Al-Qaeda and ISIS, which are active in the border triangle region with Niger and Burkina Faso, which is rich in mineral resources.
