Only two categories of non-Saudis are allowed to perform Hajj
On Thursday, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah identified only two categories of non-Saudis, who are allowed to perform the rituals of Hajj this year.
The ministry said, in a press statement: “The Hajj rituals can only be performed for those who hold a visa designated for Hajj or with regular residence inside the Kingdom,” which means that holders of a visitor or business visa cannot apply for a permit to perform the Hajj rituals this year.
The Ministry confirmed that all other details including the number of pilgrims allowed to perform the ritual will be announced through the official channels of the ministry.
The Hajj season last year was limited to only 60,000 (Saudi) citizens and residents inside the Kingdom, with the condition that they receive a Covid vaccination.
