Protests in support of Indian veiled women and rejecting the decision of the Indian authorities in Kashmir

A group of veiled women in Kashmir protested in support of Muslim students, after a government decision to ban the wearing of the veil.
Media from Kashmir reported that a number of veiled women from Srinagar offered flowers, in support of wearing the veil and in support of the right of students in Karnataka to wear the Islamic veil and to learn.
The hijab controversy began in the Indian state of Karnataka on January 1, 2022, when Muslim female students at the college were denied entry because of the hijab.
India’s Muslims protested this decision on a large scale, as female students can no longer enter schools and universities.
The Muslim students protested against the decision of the State Minister of Interior, but the Hindu extremists tried to obstruct the demonstration by attacking them.
Indian Muslims have been suffering for years from widespread racism by extremist Hindus who have taken control of the Indian government and its states.
