Hijab Exhibition Held in Tanzania


On the occasion of the International Hijab Day, the Hijab Exhibition was organized in Tanzania, in cooperation with the Pink Hijab Institute, in the presence of a number of ambassadors of Islamic countries, the head of the women’s section in the Tanzanian Islamic Council, Ms. Shamim Khan, and a number of women activists. The special guest for this ceremony was the Minister of Labor, Economy and Investment in Zanzibar Roderick Ramadan Suraga.
The organizers said that the exhibition aims to exchange culture and introduce visitors to the various costumes of Muslim women, noting the importance of such exhibitions to support Muslim women everywhere.
In turn, Zanzibar’s Minister of Labour, Economy and Investment Roderick Ramadan Suraga said that this exhibition provides a platform for informed discussions and suggestions on how to improve and more effectively implement hijab-related policies.
