Afghanistan: Imam Al-Hadi Foundation digs well for drinking water and distributes food baskets and heaters for the needy
The Imam Al-Hadi Foundation, affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority in the holy city of Qom, carried out the second batch of distributing food baskets to the needy in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
A statement of the Foundation, received by Shia Waves, stated that based on the commandments of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, regarding the necessity of caring for the underprivileged, the Foundation distributed baskets of basic foodstuffs to two hundred families of orphans and needy families in the city of Kabul.”
The statement added, the Foundation also distributed heating devices to the needy in the city of Ghazni, Afghanistan, in compliance with the commandments of His Eminence, and heaters were distributed to more than a hundred families of orphans.
Also, in the context of its charitable activities, the Imam Al-Hadi Foundation dug a well for drinking water in the No-Abad district of Ghazni city in Afghanistan.
