CAIR condemns assault on Muslim student in Chicago and demands an investigation

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) expressed its condemnation with the attack on a Muslim student at a school in Chicago, Illinois, USA, according to an official statement of the council.
The statement stated that the student had been subjected to repeated incidents of bullying and attacks during the past months, and had requested support from the school administration several times, but she had not received the required support.
The council stated that since the girl’s initiative to report incidents of bullying to the administration last August, she has been beaten, punched, thrown to the ground and taunted by her peers.
The same statement continued, “The school has not taken serious steps so far, despite documenting these attacks in a number of videos that I shared on social media.”
The girl’s family submitted several requests to the school administration to transfer her to another school so that she could be safe like any other child, but their demands were ignored.
CAIR published on its YouTube channel the day before yesterday, a video clip documenting an incident of assault on a Muslim student, in which a number of students appear beating a girl and throwing her to the ground, amid the ridicule of those present, and none of them intervened to save her.
