Saudi Arabia bans entry to the Kaaba and there are no appointments to receive the Black Stone
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced it has banned the entry to the Holy Kaaba, stressing that there is no service in the “Etamarna” app to book an appointment to receive the Black Stone.
The ministry confirmed that “the possibility of receiving the Black Stone is subject to the regulations of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.”
The ministry indicated that it “interacted with a proposal to take advantage of the barriers in the courtyard to organize the entry and exit to enable pilgrims and others to receive the Black Stone,” stressing that “the proposal was directed to the competent authorities.”
Informed sources stated earlier, that “the reservation service for receiving the Black Stone, the Yemeni corner, and praying at the Ismail Stone, will be organized through approved electronic applications, after making the tour reservation service available for non-pilgrims in the Grand Mosque.”
