Imam Hussain Holy Shrine completes preparations for the International Sajadiya Hymn Festival

The head of the Preparatory Committee for the Tarateel Sajjadiya International Festival announced the completion of preparations for the launch of the eighth edition, with active international participation from multiple sects.
Jamal al-Din al-Shahrestani said in a press interview, “The festival will launch its activities under the slogan, ‘Building the Human Self and Reforming it in the Supplications of Imam al-Sajjad, peace be upon him’,” pointing out that the date for the launch of the festival’s activities will be on Muharram 24-26, which corresponds to August 22-24, 2022.
Al-Shahrestani added that the festival will include several activities, the most important of which is writing a book on the life of Imam al-Sajjad, peace be upon him, as well as holding a conference on the sidelines of the festival to discuss academic research in the same context.
