The French Ambassador to Baghdad visits Imam Hussain Holy Shrine

In a visit he described as important and historic, the new French ambassador to Baghdad, Eric Chevalier, visited the holy shrines of Imam Hussain and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas, peace be upon them, and was briefed on the urban achievements and the services provided to pilgrims.
Chevalier expressed his gratitude for this visit, in a tweet on Twitter, which was followed by Shia Waves.
During the visit, Chevalier met with the Chief Cleric of the Holy Shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalaey, and toured some humanitarian projects affiliated to the Imam Hussain and Abbas holy shrines.
The French delegation also included the political advisor of the embassy and Dr. Salwa Nakozy from the cultural attaché of the embassy in Baghdad.
