Free Muslim: The most important partner in human life still suffers from excessive male dominance

On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the International Non-violence Organization, Free Muslim, called for the release of women detained on political grounds, and for seeking justice for abused women.
A statement by the organization, received by Shia Waves Agency, stated that “the most important partner in human life, represented by a woman, still suffers from excessive patriarchy that rises to the concept of violations and crimes prohibited by divine laws and man-made laws, as violence faced by women is a problem inherited in some societies behind backward norms or tyrannical policies that allow what has previously been prohibited.”
It added, “On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the organization calls on the international community, institutions and organizations concerned with women’s affairs to raise the pace of support for this segment, especially with the continuation of violations and crimes committed against them, as these violations vary between sexual exploitation, enforced absence or confiscation of freedom through forcible detention or preventing women from their rights to education or self-determination, as well as using it as a commodity through dubious slogans or suspicious agendas that stripped them of their basic value in various aspects of life.
The organization’s statement, on this occasion, called for the release of women detained on political grounds, to seek justice for abused women, and to ensure the fight against violence in all its forms against women in general.
