For the first time, Arbaeen Art Exhibition in Italy


The Italian news agency “Il Faro Solmundo” reported that a photo exhibition was held, the first of its kind in the country, about the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein ibn Ali, peace be upon him, in the holy city of Karbala.
In a special report, the agency said, “The exhibition, which was held from November 13-14 by the Imam Al-Mahdi Islamic Association, dealt with the religious Arbaeen Pilgrimage, which witnesses the influx of more than twenty million pilgrims annually to the holy city of Karbala in central Iraq to visit the shrine of the grandson of the Prophet of Islam, Imam Hussein ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon them, in what is described as the largest annual human gathering..
The report continued, “Millions of believers coming from all over the world participate in the revival of this pilgrimage through a foot march for nearly one hundred kilometers between the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala, while local hosts provide all kinds of services to them, including food and shelter, completely free.”
