Terrorist plot to target Arbaeen pilgrims thwarted

Yesterday, the Baghdad Security Department of the Ministry of National Security thwarted an inevitable terrorist plan to target the Arbaeen pilgrims with explosive belts.
Security expert Fadel Abu Ragheef said in a tweet, “The Baghdad Security Department of the Ministry of National Security thwarted an inevitable terrorist plot to target the Arbaeen pilgrims with explosive belts.”
He added, “This was achieved after high-accuracy follow up of the security forces and intelligence effort in a preemptive operation.”
