Dozens of followers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, from the Iraqi and Shia communities living in Manchester, United Kingdom, participated in a march in honor of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The procession, which started from the Islamic Center in the city and passed through its main street, included a symbolic coffin of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, as men, women and youth carried black banners and chanted slogans.
The march was held for the fifth year in a row, and was accompanied by security and health efforts taken by the local government to secure the march.
The event included various activities, including elegies and poems, as well as an exhibition of paintings that embodied the revolution of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The organizers of the march expressed their great gratitude to all the mourners and volunteers.
