Macron visits al-Kadhumain Holy Shrine

Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi and French President Emmanuel Macron visited the holy shrine of Imam Musa al-Kadhim and Imam Muhammad al-Jawad, peace be upon them, in the city of al-Kadhumiya, in Baghdad.
A statement by the Prime Minister’s Media Office, which Shia Waves received a copy of, stated that “Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi and French President Emmanuel Macron visited late Saturday night, the holy shrine of Imam Musa al-Kadhim and Imam Muhammad al-Jawad, peace be upon them
The statement added that “the Prime Minister and the French President met with those in charge of the Holy Shrine and went on a tour of the Shrine’s library.”
It is noteworthy that in October, 2020, Macron issued an insulting statement to Islam, describing it as going through a crisis everywhere in the world and declared his support for the cartoons offensive to Islam.
