Free Muslim: Muslims in particular are among those who suffer the most from terrorism

On the International Day of Victims of Terrorism, the International Nonviolence Organization, Free Muslim, affirmed that Muslims in particular are among those who suffer the most from terrorism.
In a statement received by Shia Waves, the organization said, “The international community recognized the International Day of Victims of Terrorism, in an expression that symbolizes the need to help women, men and children who have been subjected to acts of violence by terrorist groups or government institutions.
It added, “According to the rates of human rights organizations around the world, Muslims in particular are among those who suffer the most from terrorism, while the data indicate that the largest part of the victims are subjected to terrorism by political regimes, as is the case in Myanmar, the Rohingya minority and the Shias of Bahrain, as well as and human rights activists in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The organization stressed that the official authorities in those countries practice a policy of intimidation with execution, torture, imprisonment and enforced disappearance, which constitutes a serious challenge to the international community and democratic systems, stressing the need for the international community to confront this phenomenon and work to combat and limit it, in the hope of achieving the goals of the International Day to Combat Terrorism.
