Istanbul witnesses the establishment of the largest cultural event on Eid al-Ghadir
Major events were held in the largest hall of the “Halki” district, located in the heart of the Turkish capital, Istanbul, on the occasion of the Great Eid al-Ghadir, which marks the day the Noble Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, appointed Imam Ali, peace be upon him, as his successor.
The events witnessed a remarkable attendance by the followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in Turkey, amid the commitment of the attendees to the necessary health measures.
The organizers of the celebration stated, in separate press interviews, that “their revival of this great occasion expresses their love and loyalty to the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.”
The organizers stressed the importance of holding festivals, cultural events, conferences and seminars to further disseminate the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir to the world, and the position of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, and his divine appointment as the successor of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him and his progeny.
Muslims all over the world commemorate, on the eighteenth of the sacred month of Dhu al-Hijjah, the Greatest Eid, Eid al-Ghadir.
