Sayyed al-Shuhada Committee helps thousands of underprivileged families in 10 countries

On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, the Kuwait-based Sayyed al-Shuhada Committee, affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority, sacrificed 1650 animals in more than ten countries, and distributed their meat to the underprivileged families.
The official website of the Religious Authority stated that the campaign included the countries of Iraq, Kuwait, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Yemen and a number of African countries, and the sacrificial meat was distributed to thousands of orphan and underprivileged families.
It added that the initiative was held in honor of Imam Mahdi, may Allah hasten his blessed reappearance, and based on the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi.
