The Saudi coalition announces a halt to attacks to reach peace in Yemen

The Saudi-led coalition announced a halt to the attacks to create a political atmosphere for peace in Yemen.
The coalition said it had stopped launching attacks near Sanaa and other Yemeni cities because it wanted to “create the political atmosphere for a peaceful path” in Yemen.
Coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki said that not carrying out any attacks aims to create a political atmosphere for a peaceful path.
Yemeni writer and political analyst, Muhammad Jumaih, said that the ceasefire initiative in Yemen was presented in the name of Riyadh, but before it was presented, many American, British and international ideas were discussed in Muscat, Riyadh and other capitals, and then finally presented in the name of Riyadh.
He pointed out that there is no more realistic initiative than it, which came to open the airport, the port, disburse the port’s revenues to employee salaries, and a comprehensive cease-fire inside and outside Yemen.
Yemen has been facing for years a Saudi-led war that has left hundreds of thousands of martyrs, wounded and homeless, and damaged public and private property.
